Ah my cynical friend but did you know of the potential dangers? The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reregistered DEET in 1998 to ensure it conformed to today’s more stringent standards (rather than the 1950s standards). Because DEET is applied to the skin and not directly on plants or wildlife, its impact on the environment is minimal. However, the EPA shows DEET as slightly toxic to birds, fish and aquatic invertebrates. It’s virtually nontoxic to mammals. The EPA currently rates DEET as Toxicity Category III, the second lowest of four categories — or “slightly toxic”

Hi you eminent insect experts, there is a paranoid fascination shamroc with the female mossy.possibly or maybe your todger too.. there are far more dangerous insects out there … what about the tick, slow moving but, potentially lehthal…. lymes diease….
The blow fly its lavae if unchecked by way of the ear canal slowly eats the brain ie (ozzie) being a likely candidate of this condition. The harmless earth worm packed with bacteria that germ warfare guys utilise.. you can go on the common garden spider in the uk if it had the tools and nowse to puncture the skin just as venemons as the funnel web or black widow.. what do yer think ?
